Uncharted: Golden Abyss for the PS Vita

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a game released in 2012 by Sony Bend/SCEA. It is the only Uncharted game for the PS Vita that follows the same gameplay as the Uncharted series for the Playstation 3 (the other one is just a card game).

FUN: If you like Indiana Jones type games and also the Playstation 3 Uncharted games, you will love this. Golden Abyss has the same feel as the rest of the Uncharted games in it's series. The conversion that the characters have is also funny to listen to too. FUN - 2.

REPLAY: There's not much in a way of replay value, but if you are a completist, you will need to play more than once. REPLAY - 0.5.

STORY: Nathan Drake once again sets out for the next great thing with his old friend Dante. Little did he know that Dante was keeping things from him. One of them was a General intent on killing anyone who stands in his way, including Drake. Now Drake and his new found buddy, a woman named Chase, must find the secrets of Chase's grandfathers work before Dante and the Killer General does. STORY - 2.

DIFFERENCE/ORIGINAL: Not much in the line of Original work in this game due to the Playstation 3 versions. However, the controls and the fact that it's on the PS Vita, a handheld device, is completely Original. DIFFERENCE/ORIGINAL - 1.

DIFFICULTY: The game gives the choice of Difficulty from Very Easy to Crushing. The controls sometimes mess up (like pressing Circle to hide but instead you roll off the cliff and also Drake not climbing up no matter how many times you press X). Those controls mess up in any Difficulty. DIFFICULTY - 2.

TOTAL - 7.5.

There you have it! Uncharted: Golden Abyss in a nutshell. Until next time, this has been Benjamin P. Parker aka the Nintendo Rater.
